Your mission
WFA’s marketing services team helps members in two ways:
- We improve the effectiveness and efficiency of client-side marketing investment by leveraging the collective intelligence of the only global network of marketers;
- We develop and lead industry initiatives designed to improve the global marketing industry for clients and the whole ecosystem.
As a team we aim to emulate, and exceed, the professional practices of our members. Despite being a not-for-profit organisation, we operate in a business environment and are rewarded based on success.
The opportunity
This is a new role, focused on the creation and delivery of value for incumbent and prospective WFA members. It offers significant growth potential and presents a fascinating opportunity for the right candidate to act as a conduit for a network of diverse personalities from a variety of backgrounds around the world, while driving projects that have the ambition of changing the industry.
More specifically, we’re looking for a colleague to be based in Asia Pacific to ensure the region is not only represented in what we do but plays an active role in shaping it. Singapore is one of our key marketing hubs and home to some of the region’s most senior marketing leaders.
Role responsibilities
- Knowledge: member-facing support, including responding to requests by leveraging the collective knowledge of the network. For example, through member surveys and benchmarks. Write and update content relevant to members’ priorities (for example presentations and reports).
- Connections: host and deliver engaging events and meaningful experiences for members. Develop agendas, source speakers, and capture key learnings from member-led discussions.
- Leadership: work with your director to develop leadership initiatives which may be driven from Asia Pacific but are relevant and applicable globally. Work with industry partners at a global and regional level, where relevant, on industry initiatives.
- Retention: nurture relationships through community management. Manage communications and direct outreach to the membership on recent and upcoming WFA initiatives relevant to our marketing communities; ensure the marketing community CRM is up-to-date and accurate. Identify and connect with less engaged members based in the region.
- Recruitment: identify and connect with prospective member companies in Asia Pacific and around the world with a view to bringing them into WFA membership.
