WFA’s marketing services team helps members in two key ways:
- We improve the effectiveness and efficiency of client-side marketing investment by leveraging the collective intelligence of the only global network of marketers;
- We develop and lead industry initiatives designed to improve the global marketing industry for clients and the whole ecosystem.
Practically this is delivered upon in a number of ways, including: interactive forums, working sessions, benchmarking, member research, online tools, best practice and advisory services. Industry leadership initiatives are typically driven through multi-stakeholder programmes and working-groups.
The ‘Sourcing Forum’ brings together over 2,000 global and regional client-side marketing procurement leaders. This network is strategically important part of the WFA and has contributed greatly towards its growth over the past years. We are looking for a candidate to support this growth and enhance our level of service to this expanding community.
The successful candidate will be part of a global team of nine and will report into the Director, Asia Pacific Marketing Services and Global Sourcing, who is based in Singapore.
Role introduction
The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for WFA’s Sourcing Forum and will work on evolving the marketing sourcing function within WFA and across the wider industry.
This role offers significant growth potential and provides a unique opportunity to connect and collaborate with a global network of senior industry professionals from diverse backgrounds. The successful candidate will help drive initiatives and projects aimed at positively shaping the future of the industry.
The role is based in London and will involve international travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop, write and update content relevant to the Forum’s priorities, incuding PowerPoint presentations, member communications and thought leadership reports;
- Organise and deliver virtual and in-person events, including preparing agendas, coordinating speakers, and producing post-meeting summaries highlighting key discussion points and takeaways;
- Respond to member requests by leveraging the collective knowledge of the network through surveys, benchmarking exercises, and peer-to-peer collaboration;
- Manage CRM-driven communications and direct member outreach relating to current and upcoming WFA initiatives relevant to the sourcing community;
- Collaborate with global and local industry partners on relevant initiatives and projects;
- Support the continued growth of the WFA network through member engagement and recruitment activities.
